Well here we are. First week of classes are over and done with, thank God. This place is definitely going to take some getting used to, but for now let's talk tech. The Dissecting the Internet seminar has been pretty interesting so far. I'm coming into this class hardly knowing anything about the technological side of how the Internet works, so I'm sure there are things to be learned. From covering the gist of the course on Tuesday to covering coding on Thursday, we really are starting with the basics: the "cells" of the Internet, so to speak. That's perfectly fine with me because, like I said, beyond your every day commercial websites like YouTube and Google, I know very little about the Internet. Sad as it is, it's the truth. Things like the iClicker quizzes and learning Hex and binary make this class pretty unique, and that will hopefully continue to make things interesting and exciting! As far as improvements go, we'll see how the work load pans out over the semester, but right now things are pretty okay. And them there class discussions are nice as well, so hopefully we'll have more of those :) Until next time!
