Week 5- Ask What Technology Can Do for You
This week in HON 1515 was all about different online programs and what they can do for us. Tuesday we had a guest speaker, Mr. Ray Russel, who spoke to us about ways in which Born to Run relates to technology. For the most part these involved different internet programs that can help us with diet and exercise-- key topics in Christopher McDougall's novel. Then today (Thursday), we discussed our thoughts on another online program, RescueTime. Personally, I find these programs useful to those willing to keep up with them and maintain data input. I, unfortunately, do not see myself maintaining such habits; however it is nice to know that these programs are available to us if and when we need the information they provide. This week has shown me yet again the vast possibilities that are available to us as members of the technological era. From diet management websites to productivity analyzing software, we really do have an endless supply of information at our finger tips. All it takes is the curiosity to explore them :) See ya next week!
